Hazy mahogany with a medium off white head. Light roasted malt in the aroma with subtle caramel notes. Over the palate came caramel, roasted malt and light nutty notes. Medium minus bitterness and somewhat dry.

Tap @ brewery. Ébenvörösen csillogó (már persze ha fényforrást helyezünk mögé) ádáz bestia, mely napoleon is elbódította a népek csatája előestjén. a többi már törtéenlem.

On tap at the brewpub. Fast klare orange braune Farbe, mittelgroße beige schaumkrone. Geruch leicht karamellig, rote Früchte. Geschmack karamellig, süß malzig, leicht nussig.

Würzig-malziger Antrunk. Etwas flach, nicht zu tief, Malzig mit trockenem Körper. Sehr süffig, mild-weich, karamellig mit leichter Süße. Frisch malzig-karamellig mit ganz leichter Herbe im Nachgeschmack. Ein Hauch säuerlich, sehr süffig. Nettes Brauhaus-Dunkel.

Draught. Dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma is sugary malt. Flavour is burnt brown sugar, a little roast on a sweet finish.

Beer No. 22 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
Draught at the brewpub. Muddy brown coloured, small off-white head, quite sugary nose. Light malty caramel taste with mild roasty notes. In comparison with other two Napoleon beers pretty tasteless.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and faint butterish. Mild butterish, toffee caramel and slight butterish. Lingering dark malty and roasted into the finish. Light bitterness coming through.

Malziger Antrunk, direkt muffig-hohl werdend. Etwas herb, weiter eher hohl, die Malzigkeit schlägt eine herbe Richtung ein. Etwas intensiver im hinteren Mittelteil, OK aber etwas oberflächlich. Test vom 11.10.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 13,9,8,7,-,8 - 8,52

On tap at the brewery. The beer looks really good. Quite dark, dark creamy foam. The flavor is very washy, only little malty notes. The beer is very drinkable, but not really enjoyable. Keep it in mind as very washy.
