Many thanks for this bottle to kappldav123. Hazy dark yellow with a thin head. Aroma is sweetbread, malt. Flavour is dusty malt, some citrus and a light bitter finish.

Bottle bought at the brewery. Looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice creamy head. Starts mild, malty, spicy, not too hoppy. Mild dry background, fine malty-yeasty. Interesting beer and quite drinkable!

Draught @ Gasthaus Zur Krone, Kespermarkt 11, Witzenhausen, Hesse, Germany 37213.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, sweet malt, light hoppy, grass notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110711]

Draught at the brauhaus
Hazy deep blond color, with greenish hue; creamy head. Light malt aroma, with a light butter note. The mouthfeel is quite smooth, there is some soft malt flavor, and again a light butter touch, not annoying for me, but clearly diacetyl. Ordinary bitterness. Easy.
