Introducing you an IPA specially brewed for those who are not a fan of IPA’s. As its name suggests, English & New Zealand hops lend this beer an intensified fruity aroma but low bitterness compared to typical American IPA’s. You think you’re not an IPA enthusiast? Think again.

Hazy gold - amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry. Good fine carbonation. Smooth malts. Light floral sweetness. Mild esters. A light touch of fairly sweet orange citrus. Finishes with a pinch of spice and the floralness turning slightly bitter, Okay, bit recessed.

Bottle at De Paas, Den Haag. Poured a hazy medium amber with a long lasting frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry crisp slightly watery, light citrus, light grass hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Easy drinking but lacks defining flavours.

0.33 l bottle from ’De Bierkoning’, bottled in January 2016. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, tan head. Sweetish-fruity, slightly spicy aroma of honey melon, peach and clove. Sweetish-malty, fruity taste of peach, honey melon, clove and some bubblegum, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter and yeasty-spicy finish with notes of clove and banana. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Not what I expect from an IPA, feels more like a hoppy Belgian Ale. Quite okay though.
