Bottle from Sandersput, Ninove. Pours hazy dark golden/amber with a diminishing, frothy, off-white head. The aroma contains yeast, ripe orange, woodruff, garden herbs, pepper, sweet chili even, grassy hops, lemon, iron too. It tastes light to medium spicy bitter, slightly metallic, and light bready & fruity sweet, some honey & yeast in the back. Peppery hop finish, dry & spicy, hint of iron. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy to lively carbonation. A bit of everything in the somewhat strange aroma, but that doesn't add a lot of depth. Okay taste and mouthfeel.

Huge, very lightly yellowish head, dense, bit irregular and stable over hazy dark orange beer. Creamy nose, bit lactic, even near-weyish. Very faintly peppery aroma. Taste is more outspokenly spicy. Dry spices, very slight piquancy. Whiff as from coriander, but then it changes into another herv, difficult to pin down. Bit bready at each new sip, too. Spices are most marked in the long finish cum aftertaste. Even more dry impression. Good carbonation, medium bodied. Not bad, but... one gets the feeling that there might have been more ample fireworks, but couldn't get out. Pity. 6/4/6/3/13

Donkergeel tot oranje bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag. Smaak is zoet, kruidig en warm met iets van gember, koriander en citrus. Erg goed bier.

Golden with lasting, thin head. Initially a clean, malty, yeasty Blond. Later more floral and spicy notes come through. In my opinion that’s slightly to its detriment. Qualitatively it’s good though. The finish is very peppery.
