Bottled, from eBrowarium. Hazy amber, small head. Caramelly woody nose. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel Grainy and bready. Pears and wood, some caramel and some spice. Warming finish. Mellow. Pleasant.

Barwa bursztynowa, lekko zamglone, piana mało intensywna. W aromacie wyczuwalne nuty ciasteczkowe, karmel oraz toffi. W smaku wyczuwalne bardzo podobne nuty. Nasycenie na niskim poziomie, alkohol delikatnie rozgrzewa przełyk, goryczka na niskim poziomie, oleista konsystencja.

On tap at Pu?apka, pours a hazy dark orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out brown sugar, toffee and very sweet caramel. Flavour is intensely sweet, with loads of brown sugar, caramel, and toffee. Way too sweet, cloying territory, but it's still quite decadent. Fun stuff.

On tap. Amber color, excellent creamy foam. Aroma: sweet, raisins and caramel, sherry. Taste: very sweet, wine, a bit wild and bitter finish.

Bottle with expiry date 2017-12-06. Amber colour, hazy, minimal head. Aroma of dried fruit like figs, resiny hops. Alcohol does not disturb. Heavy sweetness, heavy long bitterness. Good, but it won’t be my favourite.

Almost clear reddish amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth viscous palate, modest fine carbonation. Rich sweet malts, silky cream and caramel. Bitter toffee and bitter marmalade. Bruised red berries. Alcohol spice. Smooth finish. Long bitter linger. Full on and muscular barleywine, if you told me this was 12 or 13% I would have believed you.

Enjoyed a second bottle even more, plenty of depth here, and a biiter savoury edge as well. Good stuff.

Tap (Kontynuacja, Wroclaw). Piwo delikatnie zmetnione o miedzianej barwie. Piana koloru ecru, drobna, srednio obfita, trwala, ladnie oblepia szklo. Aromat slodowy choc rowniez mocno owocowy, intensywny i bardzo przyjemny. W smaku, a jakze, slodowe z nutami owocowowymi, karmelowymi, biszkoptowymi. A przy niskim nasyceniu, bardzo delikatne i gladkie, lekko slodkawe, ciut wyklejajace z delikatnym drewnianym a nawet tanicznym finiszem. Bardzo dobry i smaczny barley wine.
