NO RULES were followed throughout the creation of this product. This gigantic 15% Imperial Porter is deceptively smooth and subtly sweet with layers of flavor that never seem to end. Some say it tastes like a Mounds candy bar that’s been dipped over and over again in rich chocolate and soaked in bourbon. Other people find flavors of coconut, cinnamon, toffee, vanilla, and coffee — and they would also be correct. This beer is special and there’s a reason why it was named as the top beer in the World.

THANK YOU! Bomber sampled. Black with zero head. Nose is astonishing pure chocolate & brownie sludge sweetness, sweet coffee, very sweet bourbon chocolate pralines, hazelnut, ridiculous old school RIS bourbon desert sweetness. Taste is slightly bitter upfront, not necessary but it works for me, some light black chocolate bitterness upfront leading into brownie dough, sweet chocolate, mocha, pralines, faint coconut, very sweet bourbon. This I love, body is all syrup, 15 % ABV doesn’t show. "The Big Lebowski" reference is just gravy on top.

Bottle: Pours almost black....with a faint wisp of a tan ring. Chocolate fudge, cherry, bourbon aroma. Super-rich....chocolate malt, molasses, coconut, mild bourbon taste. Very sweet.....sticky and rich. You wouldn’t believe its 15%.....(I’m not sure I do)..... That said...It’s really, really tasty!

Bottle: Poured a black color porter with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some good amount of lacing. Aroma of vanilla and bourbon with some sweet candy-lie notes and faint roasted malt notes is quite pleasant. Taste is a mix of faint roasted malt with plenty of residual sugar notes with light perfumy notes, some vanilla and bourbon notes are also observable. Body is somewhat full with nice creamy texture with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. The coconut and turpido sugar makes for a very nice dessert type beer but sugar does become overwhelming at some point.

Bottle shared. Thanks Gregg! Huge milk chocolate nose that just never ends with vanilla and cream with some light coffee and coconut as it warms. Oak undertones pop out on the palate with some bourbon and tons more chocolate. I can’t believe this is 15 percent. No alcohol and it drinks like chocolate milk. Alcohol is unbelievably hidden well. Not much else to say besides chocolate and booze hidden. Solid, but definitely a sweet bomb.
