This refreshing beer is an Innis & Gunn homage to our favorite American pale ales. It’s made with classic American hops, Amarillo and Cascade, and matured over American oak infused with Bourbon. The result is a crisp, lively and fragrant pale ale.

Bottle from the lcbo. Clear orange pour, big, frothy white head. Citrus, and orange aromas mingle with some strong oak, woody aromas. These beers seem to be seeing less and less of the barrel, this one is only 22 days. Mind you, more would have been over powering i think. The finish is leathery, hints of tobacco, and lots of earthy barrel with hints of vanilla, and slme subtle citrus, one of the best innis and gunn beers ive ever had.

Bottle - Nice sweet flowery hops with a nice pale malty backbone. Clear gold with a decent white head. Nice flowery pale malts and a nice sweetness with just a hint of the oak. Bourbon give a bit of vanilla, but not much else. Nice.

Bottle from the LCBO. Clear gold with a tiny short lived white head and no lace to speak of. Nose is toffee , bourbon and light wood. Flavour is light+ sweet toffee and honey with only a hint of the promised hops and the bourbon providing the only interesting note. Mouth is slick and slightly thin with soft carbonation. 6/3-/5/3-/11-

Poured from 330mL bottle. Clear orangey yellow with minimal white head. I&G signature aroma and flavour with a touch bourbon. A little lighter than the usual I&G (eg: original).
