Very dark mahogany pour, with a large beige head. Aroma has an incredible amount of spice. Loads of nutmeg, cinnamon, and juniper. A strong mix of gin and pumpkin pie spices. Roasty, semi sweet Porter in the background, slightly watery, with a soft carb. Finish is sharp, and dry, medium bitterness, light grass, dry sharp spice and semi sweet malts. Pretty messy.

(Bottle) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted, spicy nose with chocolate, raisins, roasted nuts, orange peel and spices (cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg). Malty, spicy taste with notes of chocolate, caramel, raisins, wood, nuts, orange peel, spices, Christmas fruitcake, a touch of rum and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, sweet. Tasty, complex and more balanced than usually from I&G. Nice one.

Mahognifarget klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter ingefær, maltig karamell, nøtter og trevirke. Middels minus i fylde. Starter lett. Pepperig ingefær kommer utover, trevirke, brent karamell, lett vanilje og tørket frukt. Middels lengde.

Mørk rødbrun (colafarget)med beige skum som raskt forsvinner. Lukter ingefær, karamellmalt, trevirke. Får litt trevirke også i smak. Smaker også kaffe og krydret. Medium minus i fylde. Mer av krydder, pepper, kirsebær etterhvert i smaken. Men også sødme.

(bottle) clear, bright reddish brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of cherries, jam, pumpkin pie spice; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish. Not an imperial porter. Not even a porter.

Pours a clean, deep copper-amber colour with a creamy-frothy mocha head, good stay and some nice lacing. Beautiful spices in the nose with nutmeg, cinnamon, all spices and sweetness over the mild dark fruity malts. The taste is milder with the spices blended in the roasted malts, fruity malts with light rum notes and hops. Pretty pleasant spiced, light porter.

330ml bottle. Pours a clear mahogany with red hue and a small, fizzy, beige head that dissipates to an outer ring leaving spotty lacing. Sweet, spicy aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, rum, vanilla and oak with caramel malt in the background. Sweet, spicy flavour of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, roasted malt, caramel, vanilla, rum and oak with a mild coffee bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. The spices overpower the porter characteristics of this beer. More of a spice/ herb/ vegetable beer than a porter.
