Herzogs Liebling – Normales Pilsener? Fehlanzeige. Damit hätte sich der Herzog nicht zufrieden gegeben. Des Herzogs Liebling ist ein Pilsener mit einer erhöhten Stammwürze, das nach Pilsener Brauart gebraut wurde.

Clear, dark golden to amber color and a white head. Nose is malty, faint sweetish and slightly fruity. Nice bitter taste, faint sweet malts, and a slightly orange-peel flavor.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head, some tiny chunks floating around. Strawy, malty aroma, a tart-ish touch of infection. Taste is sweet-ish, grainy, strawy, malty, minimally bitter hoppy overtones.

Leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung. Bitterer, dunkel hopfiger Beginn. Dabei ist der Hopfen frisch und angenehm, könnte aber aromatischer sein. Herb-würzig, minimal röstig, dann wieder bitter. Mittellanger Nachhall. 9/8/8/9/7/8

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a blond and loose foamy head. Slightly bready malty aroma with doughy spots and a mildly citrus-fruity and slightly resiny hoppy touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Doughy and slightly bready malty base with citric, slightly floral and delicately resinyx hops; mildly sweet and slightly hop bitter finish with a cautious fruity and resiny edge. Okay. 07.VI.17
