Californian session IPA with thick, irregular, off-white, sticky head and beautifully warm ’old gold’ colour, initially clear with a haze of yeast bits. ’Dank’ and fragrant IPA aroma of pine resin, yellow grapefruit, tangerine peel, lemon blossom, biscuit, papaja, fresh ginger, chicken broth, wormwood, sundried tomato, garden nettles. Crisp, lively onset, very ’clean’ and restrained fruity impressions (tangerine, mango), subdued sweetishness and dito sourishness, fairly strong carbo, light but nicely smooth body, supple toasted maltiness, only very restrainedly sweetish and lightly bittering, working well together with increasing hop bitterness, spicy, tonic water- and grapefruit-like and leaving a long-lasting bitter coating in the back of the mouth and throat as well as retronasal pine and grapefruit peel aromas. Crisp, light and flavorsome, very ’standard’ for this style but very well executed, in the league of e.g. Founders’ All Day IPA and the like.

12 oz. bottle. Pale golden color, with a pillowy, white head. The nose is mangoes, strong floral notes, butterscotch, and pine. Sweet, with a pretty nice, mild bitterness. Light to medium body, creamy, effervescent, and crisp. This is a pretty solid IPA.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Lightly hazy, pale amber. Some small floaters. Stream of fine bubbles. Thin, lasting, white head. Nose is pine needle. Woody resin. Some fusty orange. Pretty dank, overall. Taste is chewy sweet. Gets dank, resinous bitter. Fairly full bodied. Soft carbonation. Chewy, resinous bitter finish. Decent, but it’s not the freshest beer, and it shows.

Bottle, in USA. Clear orange pour, little foam no retention. Nose: malty, resin, orange peel. Mouth: frizzy, pungent bitterness and crispy body. Another tasty IPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a nice good with lots of carbonation and a thin head. Aromas of lemon and cat pee (cascade??!!) with a touch of resin and tropical fruit. Flavor is clean and lovely.

(Keg at Bishops Arms Folkungagatan, 20160323) The beer poured deep amber and almost clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had citricness, peach and grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were peach, tangerine, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, sweet and bitter. A tasty hoppy pale ale.

Bottle from Bottle Baron. Hazy golden body with tiny yeast flecks floating around beneath a thin white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, nettles and pine needles. Flavour of deodorant, cherry tomatoes and menthol. Thin body with an oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. Not as clean as I hoped it would be.

Draft @ beertemple. Golden pour. Aroma of delicious citrus and some peach. Fresh taste of citrus, bitter raisinous hop, buttery caramel and some peach. Good stuff.

Tap @ Beer Temple, sample size. Clear pale golden color. Steady white head. Aroma’s: citrus and resin, well balanced, light grain. Retronasal there’s some hop-bitterness additionally. Flavor is moderate bitter, light fruity, earthy. Light bodied (but not thin). Finishes with a firm earthy bitterness.

Hazy golden to amber color, medium sized head. The aroma balances three hop components, the fruity, the resiny and the dank. The mouthfeel is dry but not weak; nice malt profile, a bit of cereals and bread, maybe a touch of rye, before the strong bitterness; the hop flavor is mainly resiny, with some bitter orange peel.
Very well made.
