Australian hops do all the talking with this crisp and refreshing pale ale. To help bring out its true character, we have triple hopped it with Australian summer hops to give it a lovely subtle pink grapfruit aroma and bitter yet tropical fruit finish. Where does the name "Born in a Day" come from? It is told that the great Irish warrior Dagda stopped the sun in the sky for nine long months in order to protect a secret love and allow his son Aengus be born in a day. Drink to the mighty God with this bright and refreshing pale ale!

Bière 33 cl achetée au comptoir irlandais. Blonde claire à carbonatation faible. Tres légère en bouche, pointe d'amertume pas hyper agréable. Sans grand intérêt.

Bottle 50 cl. Comes as "Boyne Irish Craft Pale Ale". Pours an almost clear golden with a lacing, white head. Hops are very discreet in the aroma, I get more sort of British yeastiness - but triple hopped, huh? Whatever that means. Medium body, fruity, minerally, chalky. Dry finish but not all that bitter. A different but not overwhelmingly interesting take on a Pale Ale. 300818

Bottled 500ml (Alko web)
As "Pale Ale". Clear deep golden colour, good cloudy head. Grassy, a bit grainy, malty aroma. Light-bodied. Pale malty, some citrus, quite hayish grassy hoppyness. Easy hayish pale ale. Thirst quencher.

A light yellow beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma has citrus, lightness and spicyness of wheat. Nicely refreshning and even slightly witbier style aroma. Taste has citrus, nice bitterness, some spicyness, almost dry. Refreshning. Pretty nice.
