…how did we end up in this situation?

Plenty of blame to go around for sure, but we’re going to have to formulate our way out of this mess. Beer climates change, seasons creep but the liquid must remain cyc. Hey man, it is all about the %*@#ing formulation. Now that’s Mad Science.

In a converted garage laboratory in BKLYN, a glint of brazen red beer was created to melt down winter beer as we know it. GLOBAL WARMER harnesses the natural deliciousness of beer’s essential ingredients, in a raw, unfiltered formulation designed to beat back raging storm clouds. It's a different sort of winter beer for a changing globe.

Canned - sort of a deeper maltier version of the Resin with malts and the hops/piney resin mixing. not as good though IMO

Can from Drankenspeciaalzaak Jelle, Leeuwarden. Aroma is creamy malt, caramel, sweetish candied fruits, biscuit, soft hops, pine resin, touch of ripe orange and grapefruit. Flavour is medium sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Resinous ripe fruity hops with a sturdy sweet malt backbone, enjoyable well-rounded stuff.

Tap @ Brody's. Orange blonde. Caramel and gooseberries in the aroma. Firm grassy, herbal hopbitter flavor with red berries and passion fruit. Malty sweetish with a dry finish. Nice.

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20170725) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramel, pine and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, grass, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, hoppy and intensely bitter. A tasty and balanced brew with strong malty body.

Muddy dull tan. Has a thin head but otherwise looks nasty. Light bitterness, fruity hops (berries, mostly) and it has a lot of yeastiness. Ok, too yeasty.

Amber with beige head. Vague watery nose. Nondescript palate, vaguely sweet, faint hop finish. Not much here… why bother?

Amber color, off-white head with good retention, some lacing. Aroma has notes of resin hops, light peachy notes and malty presence. Flavor dominated by resins and pine notes, medium to high bitterness. Astringency on palate, creamy mouthfeel.

Tap at Brody’s. Clear amber with light beige head. Creamy malts, soft roast, lots of caramel and sugar syrup without being super sweet. Soft lime and orange with some dried apricot. Medium sweet and bitter. On the higher side of medium bodied. Quite nice.
