…how did we end up in this situation?
Plenty of blame to go around for sure, but we’re going to have to formulate our way out of this mess. Beer climates change, seasons creep but the liquid must remain cyc. Hey man, it is all about the %*@#ing formulation. Now that’s Mad Science.
In a converted garage laboratory in BKLYN, a glint of brazen red beer was created to melt down winter beer as we know it. GLOBAL WARMER harnesses the natural deliciousness of beer’s essential ingredients, in a raw, unfiltered formulation designed to beat back raging storm clouds. It's a different sort of winter beer for a changing globe.

From a 355ml bottle on 15/3/2015. Pours a dark golden/light amber with a big head. The nose features sweet malt and some fruit. The flavour features a good dose of biscuity malt, sweet citrus fruit, and some relatively firm hops. Fullish bodied with moderate carbonation. This is a nice beer displaying a good sweet/bitter balance. Not really a typical amber for mine - more a big hoppy APA.

Really nice brew. Good hop aroma with some malt a little bit of fruit. Flavor’s like nose, slightly sweet up front with a long bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Sixpoint flagship can poured at a tasting. Cloudy orange-ish pour with plenty of fizz head. Piney, grassy aroma. Flavor overall matches with a sweet malt. Has a warm feel to it I guess, but overall lighter than expected. Slightly bitter piney finish. Not bad. Retry month 2017. Can pour. Picked up in Portland, the closest place to find this stuff. More hops than I remember. IRA if you have to make up a style to go with it. Rich caramel and piney hops. More pleasant than the first time around. Good amber.

Can. Pours a hazy amber with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is pine and grapefruit. Medium mouth, rye, citrus, bitter finish, good.

Energy can from andrew. Smells like pine cleaning product. Less bad in flavor. Just a waste of time.

Tall thin can. Pours a clear copper reddish color with a small white head. A big sweet fruity nose. A fresh citrus hop bite, low bitterness, light spices, toast. Finishes very clean and tasty. Awesome brew. Could drink many. Really big for an Amber.

Big initial citrus infusion. Pours dark copper with decent head. Some peel. Some pineapple in finish - definitely in a sudden sharp astringency after bitterness. Tap at Glens.

Crisp amber coloured body with a clear ruby-tinted glow and a very large, four centimetre rather soapy tan head. Aroma of hops, light caramel, nuts, toasted malt, grain and a bit of spent mash. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy, herbal and light pine flavours thoughout with a deep nutty and caramel flavour at the end and some mild earthy notes. Aftertaste shows some smooth grain and malt flavours and a very light amount of hops. Overall, a nice and refreshing beer that fits well within the style and has quite a bit more complexity than i’m used to for an amber. I sampled this twelve ounce tall/slim can purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 19-June-2015 for US$2,00 sampled at home in Washington on 30-July-2015.
