*Old rating. Best before March 2014. Smooth sweetish Belgian Ale. Sweetish, honey and malt, not much bitterness, round and sticky.

At Modeste 2015. Pours dark, hazy blonde. Small white head. Smell is bit sweet, some malts. No clear honey, to my plesant surprise. Taste is light, bit bitter, some honey, malts. Very balanced, good mf and low carbo.

Classic Wallonian honey beer since 1996, tasted from a 75 cl bottle years ago. A warm golden colour with orange hue, soft and gentle maltiness, spicy notes and complex, elegant honey sweetishness. I remember I liked this a lot, time for a re-rating.

Bottle @ Fourneau Saint-Michel. Amber colour, white foam. Aroma is malty with notes of caramel, honey and spices. Not too sweet but well balanced. Very good beer!

Taste: sweet start, some honey, caramel, bit of cardboard, sweet. Aftertaste: sugary, honey, some overripe banana, caramel, bit of cardboard.
