The St. Paul Triple is a medium to heavy triple, fermented beer with a soft, full-bodied taste in the mouth. It has a beautiful golden colour with a nice white head and a tasteful and spicy aroma of pure malt, thanks to the technique of dryhopping. The Triple is a little sweet and fruity and has an excellent real triple aftertaste.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, dark golden with a solid, white head. Sweet, malty notes with some citrusy spices thrown in. Light bitterness in the finish. Pretty typical Tripel. 010498

Bottled (BB 03/2007)
Sampled in room temperature. Hazy orange, small white head. Malty, slightly hoppy aroma, hints of banana. Medium-bodied. Fruity, same time hoppy and slightly alcoholic. Short aftertaste. Not very complex tripel.

Bottled. Orange, a bit hazyish colour, white small bubbly head. Strong aroma of breadish malt with hints of alcohol. Smooth fruitsaladish, a bit bitter flavour. A bit sticky mouthfeel. Alcohol comes through pretty well in the flavour.

Blond color. Very ordinary Belgian Ale, with no surprise, and far from being a Triple.

Bottled. Hazy deep golden. Malt aroma. Sweet and soft. Some citrus, but malt flavour dominates. Not a tripel that grabbed my attention at the end of a festival.

Very good aromas of fruit and malt. Yellow and cloudy, large white head. Flavors of malt, fruit. some salt. Flavors are mild. Seems kind of weak for a triple.

An orange beer with a fine head. The aroma is slightly acidic - like a wheat beer. The flavor is sweet with notes of cloves.

Blond, foggy body. Small white head. Sweet (malty) aroma. Water-flavour, litlle bitter too. Not interesting at all.
