[9/27/14] Bottle sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2014 in Bodegraven. Thanks bierkoning. Murky amber. Sourish aroma of malt and fruits. Sour flavor, fruity, with a bit of malt. Medium-bodied. Very nice.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is winous fruity. Lingering fruity and slight citric. Smooth fruity and citric. Toasted malty finish.

Thank you Martinus! Bottle sampled @ Borefts 2014. Hazy orange, dark amber, creamy white head. Lots of tart fruits in the nose,.. Sour berries in the taste, light herbal, malty nice sourness, caramel,… Med. Body. Very nice.

750 ml bottle shared with JulienHuxley, Borresteijn & caesar @ Julien’s Klein Maar Fijn tasting. Brown color, hazy. Beige head. Aroma’s: sour like a gueuze, light lactic, caramel, red fruit. Flavor is sour, with light caramel. Light bodied. Dry finish, no new flavor. OK beer, but more towards faro than Flemish brown.

75cl Bottle, tfs PotjeBier, at JulienHuxley’s place. Hazy amber-brown colour, thin beige head. Aroma of red fruits, sourness, lemons, brown sugar, funk, light spicy. Flavour is medium-sweet, dark fruits, sourness, brown sugar, lemons, acidic finish. Light-bodied. Refreshing.

Bottled thx to Potjebier @ Julien’s neighbour is a metalhead according to Rob-tasting, small sample. Slight hazy light brown color, short frothy head. Aroma is funky, horseblanket, slight fruity vlaams bruin notes, but more close to geuze. In flavor is citric acid, slight lactic acid, bit oak wood, slight fruity. Slight thin in body, well balanced and decent complexity.
