Aroma of malt, caramel, rich fruit, some hoppy notes at the end. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Nice take on the Belgian Quadrupel style, this one is less sweet and more bitter than most Quads. Nicely done.

Bottle at Winterbierfestival 2015, Gouda: Clear dark amber colored brew with an sweet bitter taste with some hints of caramel and fruits.

Brown with lacy thin head. Really grainy. Slightly sweet. Touch of dried fruit. Slightly grassy in the finish.

33cl Fles. Bruine kleur, beige kraag. Aroma van donker fruit, wat caramel, citroenschil, licht hoppig, smaak volgt, hint van bruine suiker, bitterzoete finish. Medium body, romig mondgevoel. Prima, zij het niet heel spannend.

Bottle, 10%. Aroma of dark malts, dark bread. Cloudy chestnut/dark amber colour. Good stable off-white head. The flavour is malty, fruity, vinous, but not sweet as such. Nutty and slightly papery finish. Spicy hoppiness. Distinct and clean bitterness.

Bruin bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is krachtig warm en licht bitterzoet met iets van rijpe vijgen, wat karamel, rozijnen en wat toffee. In de afdruk is een heel licht zuurtje te herkennen, een heel goed bier.

Clear copper quad. Aroma is caramel, apple, molasses. Big body. Flavour is malty, sweet, lots of caramel. Medium bitterness, earthy noble hops. Not bad, but not wowing me.
