Rein is diep donker amber van kleur. Gebrouwen naar een ‘Belgian style Abdijbier’. Volle rijke smaak, maar fijn uitgebalanceerd. Plezierig bitter, moutige boventoon met een licht hoppige nasmaak. Net even hoppiger en minder zoet dan andere quadrupels!

Bottle. Amber brown pour. Aroma of raisin, caramel, fudge, malt and yeast. Taste has soft creamy caramel, raisin, figs, fudge, malt, yeast esters and dates. Nice smooth caramely quad, like it.

Bottle. dark amber color. Toffee, dried fruit and floral notes in the aroma. Dried fruit and soft vinous notes in the malty sweet flavor. Carbonation is very low. Alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle at home, dark ruby brown beer, small head. Aroma is fruit, dried fruit, malt, caramel, sweet, honey. Taste is the same, honey sweetness with an alcohol burn. Nice

33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from my family. Clear dark amber with a thin off-white head. Caramel aroma with some dried fruits. Taste is sweet with a hint of alcohol burn. Standard quad with some rough edges.

Bottle, BB Dec.16 (from het biermoment). Pours dark amber with beige head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, floral, honey, caramel, malt, some cocoa. Flavor is swet and bitter, caramel, malt, fruits, nuttiness, caramel, plums. Finish is nutty bitter. Covers alcohol well. Ovrall: ok.

33 cl bottle @ home, gift from a co-worker for my 50th. Clear deep reddish brown color. Big rocky off white head with good retention. Aroma’s: light grain and fruit, grassy, with sweetness and fruit candies retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet with light bitterness. Fairly strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Finish is quite short, moderate bitter.

Bottle shared / road soda. Hazy dark amber with a tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, cardboard, light overripe dark fruit, nutty notes and yeast. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.
