250ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, auburn colour with ruby shimmer and small, creamy, slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Caramel malty and somehow smoky-herbal, minimally fruity aroma, hints of dark caramel, herbal liqueur, whiffs of cherry. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, slightly herbal and minimally fruity, hints of herbal liqueur, a touch of cherry, smoked red pepper.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Barely concrete, slightly Genever-like herbal aspects - interesting, not bad, not really convincing neither.

0.25 l bottle, best before September 2016, thanks Secret Sint! Clear, dark brownish red with a thin, foamy, almost stable, tan head. Sweetish-malty aroma of brown sugar, molasses, toffee and nuts. Sweet, malty taste of brown sugar, caramel and nuts, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally metallic finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Very simple bock, rather sweet, like a Dutch Oud Bruin or a Malzbier.
