Purple wax, bottle from an IP trade with RichieSD. Pours a pitch black colour and a frothy-ish brown head with a small layer retention. Aroma's: bourbon, soy sauce/umami, wood, roast, alcohol. Retronasal it's nice bourbon, sweet, chocolate, molasses, alcohol. Flavour is above moderate sweet, a bit alcoholic, chocolate fondant. Medium bodied - I expected it to be fuller, but it makes it deceptively easy drinkable. Good carbonation. Long finish, chocolate, roasty, woody, light bitter. Lovely stuff.

Chocolate & bourbon nose. Dried dark fruits. Sweet, bitter & malty taste. Round, viscous & astringent mouth. Solid!
