Yepp, better than the Heller Doppelbock. Dark malty taste with caramel and dried fruit sweetness. Rather lite body.

Shared with Koelschtrinker & Beerhunter111 Smooth neutral malty beginning. Not too deep with lots of malty sweetness there. Round and smooth with refreshing parts, malty sticky with not much character behind the sweetish malts.

bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a beige and loose medium-sized foamy head. Dark malty, slightly crusty aroma with notes of molasses, dried fruits and herbal spice in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Sweet dark malt character with hints of sugar beets, caramel and cautious spicy notes; slightly cloying dark malty finish. So là-là. 02.V.18

Dunkler, relativ trockener Malzantrunk. Eher dumpfe Herbe, Schokolade, geringe Bitterkeit. Süffig, unspektakulär, gut trinkbar. 10/9/9/9/7/9

NRW-Fläschle: Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, medium-sized creamy off-white head; moderate sweet caramelly and slightly toasty nose, a bitter background is hardly detectable; moderate sweet and slighty bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, shorter sweet-caramelly finish. Decent, but pretty monotonous...
