bottle pours a thick black with a medium dark tan head. Aroma is black cherry, wood, lots of alcohol and some chocolate. Flavor is dark, rich, mildly fruity and delicious. Roasted barley, bakers chocolate, cherry syrup, some booze in the finish. This stout rocks!

Thanks to JaBier for sharing a bottle, part of a One through Plead the Fifth horizontal tasting. Pours black with a medium dark brown head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of toffee, malt and chocolate. Medium, smooth body with flavors of burnt malt, coffee, dark chocolate and a hint of vanilla. The finish is roasty with a coffee aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Opaque black color, small brown head. Strong chocolaty-cocoa aroma, almost chocolate pudding like. Very intensive. But I liked aroma more: the flavor has lactose, sweet milk chocolate and cocoa. Palate is rounded like in the most oatmeal stouts. Finish has some burnt/roasted notes.
