Fles thuis geprobeerd.

Bottled. A brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, fruits, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, caramel, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

26/VII/17 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ holidays - BB: n/a (2017-1128)

Clear dark brown beer, big solid creamy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty fruity, sourish touch, smells like cola, weird enough. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: soft roast, lots of caramel, lots of dried fruits, malty, some cocoa powder, bit sourish, some cherries, alcohol, lots of alcohol noticeable, pretty roasted. Aftertaste: very bitter, dried fruits, caramel, forest fruits, some candy, roasted, slightly sourish.

Bottle at opa & oma Nentjes. Opaque dark brown with huge creamy beige head. Sweet roasted chocolate and caramel malts, toffee, licorice, mocca, molasses, mild yeast. Big sweet, medium bitterness. Full body, soft creamy feel, soft carbonation. Long sweet, bittersweet, chocolate and creamy finish. 30 min. later, still camping the same glass: the molasses in this is so prominent that it feels more like a heavy sweet stout / imperial stout than a dubbel.

Tap at Brewerkz, Riverside Point. Poured a hazy medium amber with a long lasting frothy white head. The aroma is big citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter sweet with a sweet chewy malt, big citrus hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle at home. Dark brown with nice big mocca head. Coffee, caramel, brown sugar, quite earthy. Quite some fresh citric hops on the nose, but in the aroma they’re a bit overpowered by the lovely chocolate malts. Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with creamy feel. Lovely.
