Sampled @CRAFT Frankfurt 2018. A hazy orange golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of apricot, fruity bitter hops. Taste of apricot, resinous hops, long bitter finish.

Murky brown colour with thin head. Aroma has toasted malt and a little caramel. Flavour is similar but with fruity and floral hops. Quite bitter. Good body. Well made.

Draught @ Quimera Brewpub, Lisboa. Pours dark golden with a creamy offwhite head, lacings. aroma of malt, caramel, fruity hops, peach, little citrus. Flavor is light bitter, light sweet, malt, caramel, fruity, little citrus. Thin to medium body, soft to average carbonation. A bit thin, but easy to drink. 230417

Re-rating (previous 3.4) Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21A). Bottle 50 cl - Batch IPA050121 - BBF 11/2021. AROMA: medium-low oxidized hop aroma (isovaleric) and some pine. Malty background, medium-low to low, with a faint toffee character. slight cereal husk. APPEARANCE: amber color and clear. medium-large creamy ivory head with good retention. lace formation. TASTE: medium-low oxidized hop flavor (isovaleric), slight pine. medium-low background of malt, toffee-like, but more neutral in the balance. Medium-high bitterness with an almost dry and bitter aftertaste. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with a slight creaminess. medium carbonation. OVERALL: a balanced IPA which already started to decline.
