Bottle 33 cl. Pours black with a reddish hue and a gigantic, light brown head. Clearly this is also way overcarbonated. Some sweet roast aromas force their way through the head, licorice as well. Ends on a dry, herbal, licoricey cough syrup note. Quite pleasant in many ways - just way, way overcarbonated like its sibling Light Raven. 210915

Flaska från Saveur Bieré. Bubblade över! Smak och doft av humle, malt, choklad, kaffe, rostade toner, aska, lakrits, brunt socker. Lagom sötma, fadd, fruktig, viss syrlighet, fin beska.

330 ml bottle. Dark brown body, almost black. A big, dense beige head. Aroma has chocolate malt with moderate roasted dark malt. Flavor is medium sweet, dark malt, chocolate, coffee, pine and quite bitter. Surprisingly well balanced body for the low ABV. Nice, smooth aftertaste with coffee. Pretty solid.

Black color with a frothy beige head with good retention and nice lacework. Aroma has roasty notes with light coffee and some coconut. Flavor with coffee beans notes, light licorice and coffee. Mild creamy mouthfeel on palate with roasted aftertaste.

330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of dark chocolate, a touch of treacle, liquorice, soy sauce. Taste is roasty dark malty, some burnt caramel, dark chocolate, a touch of treacle, liquorice notes; way overcarbonated, slightly watery..

330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere.fr. Pours dark with massive over-carbonated tan head that takes an age to dissipate. Aroma is light chocolate. Taste is roasted malts with integrated chocolate and some light coffee, but like others have said, the fizziness isn’t great.

Sehr dunkelbraune Farbe, schöne große hell bräunliche Schaumkrone. Geruch schokoladig, Vanille, gering rauchig. Geschmack schokoladig, röstmalzig bitter, leicht hopfg, Vanille, gut!

25.07.2015, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Huge fizzy-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is instantly masses of co2 stinging in the nose, followed by dark malts, butterscotch, licorice, grass, dark sugar, minerals, weeds. Taste is dry and harsh mineraly, weeds, paper, minerals, hay, dark malts, harsh grass, licorice. Medium bitterness, dry harsh and watery mouthfeel. Meh!
