Vom Faß im Biergarten des Gasthofs Zur Post, Dollnstein (16.4.2015). - Kupferrot, leicht trüb. - Nase schön karamelmalzig mit leicht orangenfruchtigen Noten. - Antrunk süßlich karamelmalzig, angenehm aufgelockert durch milde orangenfruchtige Herbe. Gut rezent, nicht zu vollmundig, sehr süffig. Im Abgang nicht zu knappe Hopfenherbe. - Schön karamelmalziges, durch deutliche fruchtige Hopfenaromen aufgelockertes Märzen. Prima.

Bottle: Copper coloured, big firm off-white head, visible carbonation; moderate fruity and toasted-malty nose with hoppy edges; medium bodied, sweet flavour, accompanied by alight bitterness; hoppiness increases towards the sweetish-toasted finish. Very decent...........

(bottle) Clear, deep golden, almost copper coloured hue with a big, light-beige foamy head. Sweet caramel-malty and slightly bready aroma with a tinge of honey and herbal, almost resiny hops. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Aromatic caramel-malt character, slightly bready with a tinge of sour dough; medium-dry, sweet cara-malty and subtle fruity finish with a tinge of hoppy bitteress. Aromatic, classical Märzen (09.05.08).
