18/1072013 Eurhop (tap). Dorata, lievemente torbida, schiuma bianca molto abbondante e persistente. Al naso sentore di luppolo, balsamico, plasticoso, fenolico sparatissimo, pessima. In bocca Γ¨ un intruglio quasi imbevibile, acida abbastanza intensa, finale leggermente amaro, astringente, da dimenticare. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Bocciata.

Pours pale gold with some cloudiness. Big white head. Lots of fine foam. Lots of lacing and good retention. Nice looking for something that has spent time on wood. Aroma is a mix of oak, tropical and citrus hops and brett fruitiness. Big peaches, pineapples, mangoes, mint, tangerine. Also, a light mineral note and some gentle earthiness. Nice and clean like a good all brett beer should be. Taste is fairly dry but there’s some hop juiciness counterbalancing that. Lightly bitter. Lots of wood. Light fresh malt flavor. Brett fruitiness and earth. Flavorful hops - big on peaches, juniper, lavender and limes. Light on the palate. Pretty gentle carbonation. Clean hop-brett finish. Another very nice beer from CS. I continue to be impressed with their work.

On tap @ TΓΈrst, New York. Pours hazy dark yellow with a creamy head. Aroma is brett, balsamic vinegar, oak and spicy orange peel. Full body with very soft carbonation. Flavour is tart, funky and fruity, without ever closing really in on sour, as well as notes of oak.

Sample poured from a bottle. From notes. Citrus with earthy barnyard funk and a hint of tart fruit. Good.

Bottle brought back from Denver. Hazy light yellow with a short lived white head and lots of sheeting. Sharp spicy flower aroma. Bitter sharp a little chemically and musty. So this is Brett. I like it.
