33cl bottle, thanks Beerhunter111! BBE 12/2014. Copper color, thick white head. Yeasty spicy, sweet aroma, floral notes. Sweet, perfumy, floral, grainy flavor, hint of metal as well. Sticky sweet finish. Not a beer I would try again.

Straightforward amber-coloured beer with cream white head and brownish but otherwise rather pale amber colour. Nutty aroma with hints of pear, peach, caramel and the ’death’ smell of pasteurization. Neutral taste, lightly malty, bit nutty, bit caramelly, some dried fruits in the background, thin and watery mouthfeel, light hoppiness in the finish. I cannot understand why Luxembourg, despite its proximity to Belgium geographically and culturally, would settle for such boring beers.

Dark amber colour. The beer starts malty-sweet, not very intense. The mainpart is malty-sweet, slightly bitter. The aftertaste is medium, tends to be watery, sweet-malty, highly drinkable. --> ok, but could be a bit deeper in aroma. --> 8/12/8/8

Vacation 2013 @ Virton, Belgium. 33 cl. bottle @ the bungalow, bought @ the Cactus supermarket in Redange, Luxembourg.

Copper with a thin white head. Malty caramel aroma. Bittersweet taste. Quite boring actually.

Copper and light amber coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, raisins and a hint of metal - not too bad. Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavours with caramel, light earth, raisins and some light pit fruits with a rather strong alcohol and cereal note and some light sweetness at the end. Aftertaste shows alcohol, bread, yeast, cereal, grain and not too pleasant sweetness. Overall, nice to try here locally, but not worth buying nor trying unless it’s your only one from the Grand Duchy. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Alima Supermarket in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg earlier today on 17-August-2013 for €0,96 sampled in my hotel room here in Luxembourg City on 17-August-2013.
