Draft. A cloudy light golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of grass, hops, malt, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, spices, straw, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a pale yellow with a slight haze and a small, white head. Nose offers very little, so clearly not dryhopped. Medium body, clean semi-sweet malts, getting a little watery before a dry finish with little bitterness. Very little impact of the American aroma hops. But easily drinkable. 090120

Unterdurchschnittliche Karbonisierung, trocken hopfig-herber Ausklang. Meh.. 9/8/8/7/9/7

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine hoppy, modest dry. Mild bitter background. Fine fruity notes of lemon. Quite drinkable. Nice.

330 ml bottle into lager glass, bottled on 4/10/2018. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, orange, peach, melon, citrus zest, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very sight skunky hints, that go away through the glass. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity citrus/earthy hops and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange, peach, melon, citrus zest, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, peach, melon, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeasty notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very good dry hopped pale lager. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and pale malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Very clean and rich pils malt showcase, with balanced citrusy/noble hops. The noble hop character is predominant in the finish, so it still hits all style marks really well. Was expecting more US hop character from Amarillo/Simcoe/Cascade, but it had a solid amount. A very enjoyable offering.
