A prolonged repose in bourbon-soaked American oak barrels adorns a dark chocolate profile with notes of toasted coconut and vanilla. A rich, supple texture belies the unholy power of our Imperial Oatmeal Stout.

Can (10/4/24) from Andover Classic Wines. Opaque dark brown, ephemeral fizzy brown head, light viscosity, no lacing. Aroma is strong, balanced, bourbon, oak, earthy malts, toffee, hint of toasted coconut. Taste is strong earthy, roasted malt, toffee, toasted coconut, bourbon, oak. Thick texture, soft carbonation, alcohol you can feel in your sinuses and mild warmth. Mellows and more flavors/aromas emerge as it warms/breathes. Aroma bests taste.

Can picked up from Beer Republic webshop Berkel-Enschot Netherlands and consumed at home Friday 7th February 2025 in the company of Marko, Ursula and Jonas. We had Beef Stifado for tea and have listened to ByteFM all evening. Pours black, peeling away to mid brown on the edges, a little bit boozy in fact it's relying too much on the bourbon, it's a one trick pony. The base beer is a bit too thin

12 fl.oz. can, thx F&L for sharing! Blackish bottle, amber around the edges. Dry, sweetish aroma, raisins, some bourbon, bit dusty, some peat or peat-like notes. Sweetish taste, bourbon's there, bit chocolatey, peaty, some caramel, thin body, okay balance, fairly big warmth. Solid!

Can. Black as tar, no head. Sugary praline roast, wood vanilla, roast, sweet, light licorice, bourbon finish. Sticky on the palate. Barrel emphasis, fun fizz in the end.

Surprisingly sweet this year, boozy, thin as ever. Strong bourbon, chocolate, minimal roast that's mostly just backend dryness. Smooth, tasty, very nice.
