Bottle. A pale yellow-golden cider, clear, with no head. The aroma reminds me of a tea shop, with a light citrus touch and some pear. It’s medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with too much sweetness for my preferences. Pear and a light citrus touch in the aroma, with tea notes and white sugar. Too much on the sweet side this one, which I think is a pity, since it’s a good idea adding hops to cider. 171020

33cl bottle. A clear golden colour, small fast diminishing white foam. Aroma of mid sweet riped apples. Taste of sweet apples, mild ripe apples, sugar, medium carbonation.

330ml can from Morrisons Supermarkets Limited. Pours clear gold, aroma is predictably sweet, perfumed. Taste is old lady perfume, sweet apple juice, clean, well carbonated & a touch over-sweet. Doesnt state what hop is used, and hard to pick it out besides the over-riding floral notes.

Bottle 201017. Pale golden color with a white head. Aroma is apple, hint of hop. Flavor is apple, hint of hop, pear, flower, mature apple. OK/Nice cider.

Can from Morrisons, Elland. Clear blond cider. The previous hop cider I had was horrible, but the hops here are subtle and the apple sweetness is pleasant with a mild tangy finish. Has some light apple in its aroma.

Bottle shared witj JMD on board Fridtjofen at Tau slipp og båtbyggeri 03. 09.17. Clear yellow. Aroma of apples, cider and 7-UP. Similar taste, with moderate bitterness.

Fjerde og siste dag på slipp med Fridtjofen, og vi synker ned i solstolene på dekk, i vissheten om at vi har gjort en formidabel innsats! Lys gulgrønn med kort skum. Mild humlearoma og -smak med behagelig innslag sv modne pærer og engelske cidereplwr i tillegg.

Can at home split with Sarah. Picked up from Morrisons. A clear pale yellow / burnt gold. fine fizz. Aroma is weird citrus, soapy lemon handwash, sickly sweet. Flavour is composed of sweet and tangy, sickly sweet, artificial apple, weird soapy citrus. Palate is medium sweet, highish carbonation, I don’t like it.

330ml can from Morrisons. Clear golden colour with a thin rapidly dissipating white head. Aroma of ripe apples, floral hop resin. Taste mirrors the aroma, sweet ripe apples, floral notes from the hop extract. Light-medium bodied, fizzy carbonation. Sweetness could do with toning down a little as it’s borderline cloying, maybe some different hops could be used instead of extract... other than that a very enjoyable cider.

Can from Morrisons and drunk on a train. Clear pale orange colour no head. Slightly perfumed aroma. Apple and perfume flavour medium sweetness Yes its fine if a little sweet.
