India Black Steam Lager. De Ramses Z’onder Baard is een collaboratie tussen Ramses Bier, Café Z’onder Zeil en De Bebaarde Brouwer. Het is een steambier gebrouwen met een ondergist, maar vergist op een hogere temperatuur. Hierdoor heeft het bier meer smaak. Daarnaast is er vlak voor bottelen nog Earl Grey thee toegevoegd. 2018: 5.2% abv. / 2019: 4.8% abv.

Bottle at home. Aroma of malt, liquorice, tea, berries, earthy notes, coffee, hint of roast, hops in the finish. Flavour is light sweet with an over moderate bitter finish. Body is medium. Curious beer, but I definitely liked it.

Bottle. Dark brown pour. Aroma of herbal peachy hop, chocolate, caramel, licorice, little citrus and lager yeast. Taste has bitter peach, chocolate, licorice, caramel, lager yeast, earthy coffee and quite a lot of carbonation. Not bad, it's like a black hoppy lager, only the high carbonation is costing points.

Bottle at THT September. Gusher! Hazy dark briwn with big dark beige head. Bit sour, earthy, licorice. Past it's prime.

Fles 33cl bij Stalles in Rotterdam. 4,7%. Hop (saphir), droog, roasted malts, koffie, noot, citrus, bitter, peperig, earl grey. Waterigheid valt heel erg mee. Interessant. Goed. (21-9-2019).

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt, caramel and licorice in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty salty flavor with licorice. Lots of floral grassy hops. Blackberries. Tasty brew.

Very dark brown color large fluffy beige head. Aroma of malted milk balls covered with chocolate. Taste is more earthy than sweet, lightly spiced chocolate. Interesting.
