12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/16/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and light-moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 5.8%. Overall this is a very good IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish, no overly aggressive. Mix of American, New Zealand, Australian, and German hops. Balanced vibrant, dank, and earthy hop complexity; with a solid pale malt backbone, and no residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, with a unique hop profile.

Gott

Flaska från SB, backlog. Ganska klassisk västkust:ish IPA i den lite lättare klassen. Citrus, granskott, etc. Kanske lite i klenaste laget.

Ho-hum IPA, in dire need of some malt heft to offset the exuberant hopping. Grapefruit, mango, green pepper, and earth are present, but the thin, crackery malts provide little base for these flavors to flourish; instead we get a dry, bland back end with a modestly bitter fade. Pours a hazy gold with a clingy white head and good lacing. Nose is earth, chives, and citrus. Perky feel is nice, but otherwise a skippable IPA.

Light citrus, some peel like lizards shedding. Bittering hops. Golden hazy pour with good head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Tap at brewery.
