On tap at Gasthaus Zum Freischütz, Landshut, Thursday 16th May 2019. Pours almost amber in colour with a large frothy cream coloured head, though it is quite dark in here so the colour might be slightly different in a better light. Wheaty but a bit more robustness about it, the usual banana and clove elements are here and there is a little fizz on the tongue that I get from wheat beers but this just taste a little different, it's very nice though.

50cl bottle. a hazy amber beer with a beige head. aroma of clove, wheat malt and hints of caramel. taste of caramelish malt, wheat, clove and some esters.

Schöne orange-braune Farbe im Glas, weißer Schaum. Der Geruch ist frisch-hefig. Im Antrunk ist das Bier schön süffig-süßlich und toll hefig-mild. Diese sehr angenehme hefig-milde Note setzt sich auch im Hauptteil fort, wo noch eine ganz leicht würzige, aber interessnt-angenehme Note hinzu kommt. Im Mund breitet sich ein weicher und ganz leicht malziger Hefe-Weizen Geschmack aus – genau, wie er sein soll. Leichte Anklänge an gelbe Früchte spürbar – Birne oder heller Pfirsich. Der Nachgeschmack ist lang, mild und aromenreich. Es ist eine Fortsetzung der Aromenvielfalt der Hauptteils, die aber im Nachgeschmack unter dem weichen Einfluss der Hefe noch um einiges milder wirken. Hinzu kommt eine sehr angenehme Süße, die sich sehr gut mit der milden Hefe und den übrigen Aromen verbindet!
--> Klasse Hefeweizen. Keine störenden Aromen spürbar. Süffig und vollmundig. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Cloudy golden colour . A nice banana clove aroma. Sweet malt and wheat with a nice finish.

Bottle. Sweet banana, orange, clove and wheat malt aroma - very nice. Cloudy yellow-tan color with moderate head and strong effervescence. Mildly bitter but strong clove, sweet banana/orange, and wheat malt flavor. Nice body. Very nice.

(bottle) Hazy, deep golden to amber colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet (cara-)malty and moderately wheaty nose with notes of bubblegum and peaches. Sweetish flavour, medium to light bodied with a lively carbonation. Wheaty and moderately fruity taste with a tinge of cara-malt; sweet and mildly fruity and malty finish with phenolic spices. 12.IX.09

Bottle: Deep golden, almost clear, clumps of yeast visible; fluffy off-white foamy layer; moderate sweetish aroma of bananas, light traces of wheat and yeast underneath; moderate to solid sweetish-sourish flavour, medium bodied, quite smooth; slightly lingering sweet fruity (bananas) finish with the usual tartness in the aftertaste. Not bad at all...........

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Tastes strong, very yeasty and woody. Dry finish, too less fruity. Not so good!

bottle. Cloudy amber yellow colour, large head. Fruity and yeasty with nice hints of caramel. Quite strong but very quaffable and thirst-quenching. Good.

Restrained clove, nutmeg and banana aroma. Cloudy orange yellow, low but very stable and lacing head. Bready, somewhat spicy weizen (pepper, earth, nutmeg, koriander). Banana afterplay, but overall a somewhat watery aftertaste.
