Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice root, star anise, chocolate, cinnamon and mild toasted tones. Flavour is chocolate, some liquorice, mild cinnamon with some wood and mild sweet maltiness too.

Beer from dunklermessiah as part of European local swap. Dark boewn color with medium beige head. Aroma of chocolate, dark malt, licorice, cinnamon, ight hops. Taste starts with coffee, continues with chocolate, cinnamon, licorice. Good one.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, black with an orange hue and a lacing, beige head. Sweet, vanilla like aroma. Medium body, lightly sweet vanilla and subtle roast, hints of chocolate. Subdued bitterness. Light for its strength, with little body or roastiness. But pleasantly smooth and easy drinking. 060122

Bought in Travemunde, drunk at home while seeing up camera gear. Very dark pour with a moderate tan head. Sweet light-roast nose with hints of milk chocolate. Nice flavor with mid complexity, chocolatey with a hint of coffee-like black malt at the end. Good stout, ones of the better entries I've had from up north.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, sweet malt, dark malt, light burnt, light chocolate and coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, sweet dark malt, roasted, light coffee - chocolate.
