Draft at Old Chicago. Lots of caramel and a little citrus hop bitterness. Decent beer overall, thought I would really like to try the BA version of it.

12 ounce bottle from Vintage Cellar, Blacksburg. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of grainy and nutty malts, floral notes and caramel. The taste is bitter hops, nutty notes and a toasted finish. Medium bodied.

Draft under rebrand of Fresh Track. Clear amber body. Frothy, off-white head. Toasted rainy aroma with notes of cookie, grapefruit and dough. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Didn’t expect much from this amber ale and this beer met my expectations. Simple, qualffable and a bit raw around the edges. Average amber.

Tap @ Boulder Beer DIA. Burnt orange appearance with a cream colored head. Mild earthy hoppy, caramel malty nose that’s not too potent. Dull earthy hoppy, not very exciting caramel malty flavor. More boring than I remembered.

Bottle known to be at least a year old: Dried leaves on the nose, with caramel hints. Clear copper, no head, minimal lacing. Flavor is dried leaves, subtle barley malt finish. Decent and well made, but pretty ordinary.

Bottle. Poured copper with thick white head. Little lacing. Slight malty aroma. Not unpleasant just very little of it. Medium body with malt and a little bitterness. Moderate middle of the tongue finish.
