(Draught at Butcher’s Tears, Amsterdam, 27 Feb 2015) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of caramel, orange peel and apricots. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, caramel, orange, citrus and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a soft malt profile. Quite nice.

Cloudy medium amber colour, small frothy white head, recedes fairly quick, good lacing. Fresh malty nose, bit toasted, quite fruity, berries, black currant, lemon. Taste light to medium sweet and medium bitter, fruity notes. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, dry bitter aftertaste, fruity hop notes, spicy (pepper, cloves). Overall a nice tasty amber ale, very drinkable.
