Dunkles Festbier

0.5l bottle, thx Fil for sharing with us! Deep clear cola body, off-white thick head. Sharp sourish dried dog food in the aroma... oh lovely... Smooth malty taste, caramel, low roast, light light acetic note without sourness. Spoiled...

Bottle bought in Furth im Wald. Malty dry beginning. Easy to drink, grainy with a fruity malty back. Dry, malty with not too much roast. Nice bitter dry in the end. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cave Gladium on 06 Aug 2021 at 21:15 - Score: 7. Original review text: Bottle bought in Furth im Wald. Malty dry beginning. Bottle (screwcap!)picked up from Bayerisches Bierspezialitäten Pararadies Bienenfleiß and consumed at home Attenkirchen Sunday 1st December 2019 cooking a Beef Rendang and listening to one of our 🎸🎶 albums of 2019 🎸🎶 Modern Nature - How to Live. I have to say that despite looking pretty good (light amber with a white head, excellent clarity) it is poor in every other category. It's flat, a little sweet and with a bit of malt but its really poor, drainpour for me.

(screw cap bottle) Clear, deep amber colour with a slightly tanned mid-sized foamy head. Moderately toasted and slightly leafy malty aroma with notes of butterscotch, caramel and shades of vanilla. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Moderately toasted malty base with leafy notes, caramel, subtle fruity accents and a whiff of herbal and grassy hops; mildly sweet and toasted malty finish with a discreetly bitter hoppy bite. Balanced Dunkel. 05.VII.17
