Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing. Bottle looks really interesting, nice format. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Fine spicy aroma. Starts hoppy, spicy, some herbal notes. Finish more balanced, still fine spicy. Interesting.

Many thanks to Peter for this bottle. Smooth grainy beginning. Easy to drink with a grainy fruity and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Pours a cloudy yellowish color with a foamy white head. Aroma of wheat. Tastes like an IPA on the tongue but with a very gentle spruce taste. Palate includes citrus, bread and pilsener influences. Great combination, really well put together and drinkable.

Enjoyed for Easter 2017 in Vermont with friends. Pours a hazy golden colour with a white frothy cap, nice lasting and foamy lacing. Cereal malt aromas with the citra hops. Citrus tasting with orange notes and light grapefruit zest that is well-blended. The mouthfeel is lightly dry. Quite nice, as not overly zest-peel dry. This is a nice blend of a few styles that go down very nicely. A different twist on the hoppy brews.

Bottle at home in Salisbury - picked up in NH. Pours clear yellow-gold, subtly effervescent, with a creamy, pure white head. The aroma has some citrusy hops, biscuits, a little grass. Light sweet flavour with a little rindy bitterness, pale bread, sturdy grassy hops, tangerine peel. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, some more citrus fruits, pale grains, grass, melon. Fun stuff.

Pours hazy straw into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Sourdough and lemon aromas. Soft with sourdough and biscuit upfront turning to rotting vegetables before the lasting earthy bitter twig finish.

Keg at Switchback, Burlington. Hazy golden, creamy head. Bready nose with some tangerine. Mid dry with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Spicy grainy bread, mild citrus. Mid bitter finish. Flawless, but somewhat sterile. Lacks the malt softness which is the soul of kellerbiers.

Bottle from the Lazy dog Slightly hazy deep yellow with a firmly bubbled white head that persists. Somewhat odd meaty note up front dissipated quickly. The nose has bits of earthy spicy floral citrus and some faint bready pilsner underneath. The flavor is about what the aroma promised but add a light skunk. Not horrible but certainly not as clean as the German beer they are trying to emulate.
