Bottle. Deep opaque brown-black body, thin/partial light brown head. Complex nose with notes of bourbon, oak, chocolate liqueur, and coconut. Body sharp, sweet, and bitter with burnt sugars, coconut, and dusty oak. Sweet but feels flabby with a lack of any boozy warmth.

Bottle at the Rate Beer Awards Festival Bottle Share. Big coffee in the nose, sugar, vanilla, maybe maple syrup, and bourbon. Sweet falvors of vanilla, bourbon, cocoa, cola. Almost flat. A bit too sweet and somewhat 1-dimensionally driven by the additives.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Cheers! Pours oily black-brown with a tan foam head. The aroma holds milk chocolate, light coffee. Rich flavor, moderately sweet, with nice chocolate and creamy coffee character. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, with light warmth, continuing hearty cocoa, milky coffee, mellow earthy bitterness. Solid.
