A one off batch of a Milkshake IPA inspired by tiki cocktails. With an inviting tropical fruit and mint nose, Tiki's Turtles has layers of tiki-esque flavours with pineapple and coconut which fade into an assertive mint and sour lime finish with a hint of vanilla.

Can. RAD Beer. Dirty pale gold. No head. Not a looker. Nose has coconut cream and lots of lime. Some pineapple. Some green herb. Taste is tart, lime juice bitterness. Trace of sweetness. Medium body. Fairly acidic. Crisp carbonation. Lots of lime juice on the finish. Doesn’t gel at all well. In fact, it’s pretty grim, and definitely not what you might expect from this brewer.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Light palate, mildly dry, a good carbonated nip. Light malts bring a mild to medium sweetness. Crisp pineapple and lime provide an upfront fruity lip smack. Emerging lime peel bitterness goes hand in hand with the coconut and mint. Crisp minty limey finish with some light spicy bitter hop. Yeah - very well balanced flavours that interplay in an interesting and engaging way. Every mouthfull is interesting. Wander Beyond continue to impress and stand out from the new brewer crowd for me.

Keg at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Nose of pineapple, mint, mango, vanilla. Flavours of sweet herb, lots of mint,pineapple, peach melba. Minty sweet fruit mouthfeel. Exceedingly interesting brew.

Keg at Wild Beer Jessop House, Wander Beyond TTO. Slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is mojito like, pineapple, coconut, mint, vanilla. Taste is sweet, tangy, pineapple, coconut, very minty, a little vanilla/lactose sweetness. Medium body, soft carbonation, minty aftertaste.
