Can. Ruby colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, mild dried fruity, some sweet malty and mild toffeeish tones. Flavour is chocolaty, some sweet toffeeish elements with mild alcohol sweetness with some mild dried fruity and raisiny tones. Smooth.

Wittorfator, dunkler Doppelbock von 7,5 %, 33-cl-Dose vom Craftbeer-Shop.com. - Dunkles Kastanienbraun; schöner Schaum. - In der Nase sattes aber nicht plumpes dunkles Malz mit gediegenen Noten von Mokka und Bitterschokolade, Kirschkonfitüre, Rosinensüße und mild-frische krautige Hopfung mit leichter Orangenschale. - Antrunk satt und weich dunkelmalzig mit Schokolade und etwas Mokka aber eigentümlich leicht und ein klein wenig dumpf, mit limonadiger Süße, blasser Weinbrandkirsche und matter herbaler Hopfung. Spritzig rezent, vollmundig; gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang schön mokkasüß mit Rosine, feiner herbaler Hopfung und leichter zitrusfruchtiger Herbe. - Ein Doppelbock mit feinen Aromen aber ohne die übliche Schwere. (22.3.2022.)

Almost clear, dark amber color and a off-white head. Nose of malt, caramel, dark honey, herbal. Taste follows the nose.

(Keg at One Pint Pub, 7.5 % ABV, 2021016) The beer poured very dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had malts, molasses, treacle and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, toasted malts, molasses, treacle and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A pleasant malty brew with delicious notes of molasses and toasted malts.

Sample courtesy Grumbo. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are rich malt, caramel, hops, fruits and has a nice malty finish.
