Zipline Brewing Co.’s Copper Alt. is a unique ale/lager hybrid. This bronzed brew is unfiltered, and designed to be extremely drinkable, with subtle nuances of chocolate and hazelnut. A late gift of Sterling hops in this brew leaves a little hoppiness for your palate to ponder before the next sip.

Bottle @ America Strikes Back, Ulfborg. Pours clear copper brown wth small off-white head. Dusty aroma with notes of malt and hops, and touches of nuts. Bitter and dusty flavour of hops and roasted malt, with subtle notes of fruit. Bitter aftertaste with metallic hints. OK for a non-German Altbier.

Bottle. A- Caramel, chocolate, nutty, sweet, matly, grains. A- Reddish amber color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Chocolate, hazelnut, slightly malty, caramel, mildy sweet. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- A unique brew. When the description says this is a ale/lager hybrid with chocolate and hazelnut notes is isn’t lying. This is very sssionable and the flavors just blend extremely well. This was a well done brew and after a couple different Zipline beers, I can say that I think Zipline is the biggest secret in Nebraska and maybe the central region.

Tap @ Old Chicago’s Lincoln Haymarket. Pours a clear burnt orange appearance with a foamy tan head. Herbal, grassy, noble hoppy, nutty caramel aroma. Chewy caramel, chocolate, light diacetyl, nutty grassy, flavor. There is a bit of butter but honestly a pretty decent offering.
