22 oz bomber purchased at the brewery in Springfield, Missouri. The pour is a hazed almost murky brown with a well formed one inch khaki head. The aroma is clean soft cocoa chocolate along with fresh raspberry and general malt sweetness. The taste is the malt initially, toffee, nut, caramel along with the cocoa chocolate of the nose, and the finish is the softly tart raspberry, that really cuts nicely through the initial sweetness and dries out the finish. The palate is medium to heavy bodied, lower carbonation and the sweet than clean tart raspberry in the aftertaste. Flavors really meld well, beautifully executed concept.

Bottle. Pours a hazy very dark brown with a creamy light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a rich sweet raspberry (hint of tartness) note with a nice backing of dark grains and a bit of sweet dark bread. Flavor has more of the sweet raspberry with some light dark grains that add some balance.
