Sampled from can @ Eindhovens Bierfestival. Opaque black color, average sized beige to light brown head. Aroma is quite foul, it reminds me of animal food. Taste malts, lightly coffee, dark malts, coconut, a bit sweet-bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Too bad the aroma wasn’t very nice at all but overall quite a nice porter.

(355ml can @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Oct 8 2015) Pours opaque black with a moderate pale tan head. Aroma of sweetish medium roast malts with chocolate, a bit of dark fruit, hints of nuts and coconut too. On the palate, moderately sweet dark malts, chocolate again at the core, a bit of dark rye bread, slightly ashy roast, toasted coconut coming through a bit in the finish but not as dominant as expected. Aftertaste lightly bitter with ashy roast and hops. Light-medium body, average carbonation, not bad as a porter but I expected a bit more coconut to be honest.

Heavy aroma of coconut and hops that I can’t say is too appetizing. Slightly clear black body with minimal head. Flavour is burnt barley with a dry finish. Weak on the mouth. It’’s not working together well enough.

Can. Opaque black liquid with medium light tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, dried fruit, cocoa, licorice, cinnamon and bread. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of chocolate, bread and light ash. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Really nice.

Can from Tanakaya. Drank straight from the can. Big aromas of roasted coffee, bitter chocolate and toasted coconut. Taste is more of the same, with the coconut showing more as it warms. Medium body with a nice creamy mouthfeel. Nice dry roasty finish with some sourness to it.
