Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark black, almost no head. Intense woody-malty aroma. Starts very strong, soapy-malty, roasty, notes of wood, earthy, modest dry. Finish milder, less intense malty. A bit boring finish. Nevertheless a fine beer!

Shared @ Koelschtrinker's tasting. Deep sticky nose of Imperial Stout. The beer starts fruity with woody sourish parts. The alcohol is in the back, the wood is there but the rum only very subtle. Not as balanced as it could be, refreshing but could be more aromatic.

Sexy 25cl bottle from Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours black with small tan head. Aroma is rich rum, medicinal, wood, liquorice. Taste is oily, gentle, rich with quite a big rum hit, clearly a generous amount was left in the barrel. Could do with malt body and layered depth, seems to be all about the rum, some herbal liquorice lingering on the finish.
