Bottle pour into tulip glass at German Biergarten, Philadelphia airport. Appearance is lightly hazy, basically clear orange with minimal sparkle, finger-width off-white head with fair retention and light lacing and light colored sediment. Aroma is dank resin, pine and strong malt backbone. Taste is dank resin bitter with light citrus fruit and pine with bready malt backbone. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, nice alcohol warmth, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, good but not earth-shattering like other ratings. Decent complexity and good flavor but visible sediment and overcarbonation are drawbacks.

Bottle from Frank's. Slightly hazy golden. Pine, tropical fruits, bit of grapefruit, mostly pine. Fairly bitter and dry. Robust malty backbone. Solid IPA.

Bottle into a snifter showing well filtered pale amber with half a finger of quickly dissipating clean white foam. The nose shows pronounced mandarin oranges with light pine around the edges. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Moderately intense flavors of blood orange with very light pine resin around the edges. Finish is strong sharp pine IPA finish. Not bad but bitterness is a bit strong.

Thanks to whomever gave this to me on Saturday, was rather intoxicated at work and can't recall.

Growler from Trenton Road Takeout in Falsington, PA. Bright Amber gold topped by a small frothy beige head. Fragrant citrus hop nose explodes on the pour. Wonderful buttery, toasted malt flavor upfront. Then comes the rush of citrus and pine hops. Bitter, yet not over done. Complex and spicy with notes of mango, pineapple and tangerine. Finish becomes peppery with pine and grapefruit notes. Just a splendid example of a West Coast style IPA. Worth seeking out.

12 oz bottle poured, sent over by Pruf. Thanks! Always fun to try a top 50 IPA. A mostly clear golden pour. Aromatic hop quality from quite a distance. Flavor is a bitter piney constant, flavorful, and very tasty. Thicker body to this. Cool late, and the flavor turns a little more to the citrus side as it lingers. A juicy side to it as well. A solid IPA here for sure. I’d love to be able to throw a pint of this down regularly. Awesome.

Draft at the Industry. Clear body, medium golden, soft fluffy head. . Pretty gentle, but wonderful malt profile. Fairly smooth throughout, despite its claim of being aggressive. Pretty lavorful, nice feel.

Smokin Joe’s Pittsburgh bottle: pours light orange with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit and tropical fruits... Basically very west coast. Bitter and dry with loads of citrus. At 87 ibu it is not overly brutal. Still quite bitter. Quite good but not quite a hundred hundred.
