Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Colin. Pours clear orange with a frothy white head. The nose has some piney hops, jammy citrus, melon. Medium sweet flavor, lots of piney and grassy bitterness, grapefruit, rind, orange, some pale bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with lots of piney resin, bitter grass, ripe citrus fruits. Not bad overall.

Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours golden-amber with a medium white head. The nose is fresh, big juicy action, passion fruit, mango, fruit cocktail and candied peel. The taste is crisp, smooth bitterness, minerals, sherbet, pine needles, touch of alcohol, zesty citrus, mild caramel and a touch of toasty grass with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Drinks mighty easy. Nice stuff.

This is a pretty good IPA but I’m a little surprised to log in and see that it is rated through the roof. To me it was just another IPA. Typical citrus nose and flavors, balanced with a clean enough bread malt underpinning. Well built and drinkable, no doubt, but it surely didn’t stand out to me as world class, more like just another in a long line of good IPAs.

[2/23/15] Draught at Fat Head’s in Portland. Clear golden. Aroma of “green” hops, fruity and slightly oniony. “Green” hops flavor, fruity and a bit oniony, with nice bitterness. Medium-bodied. Good.

Tap at Fat Heads. Top notch IPA. Modern feel thanks to the Simcoe, and the Cascade and Columbus round it out. Filtered golden orange body. Foamy off-white head. Fresh, big hop tones. Great balance. Excellent.

355 ml. bottle sampled @ Pure Apricot Tasting. Thanks! Excited to try this one, I have heard a lot of great things about this one. Orange, little white bubbles for head. Huge cheese hops in the nose, bit odd mix malt, candy, caramel, touch dank,… Taste is dank, cheese, malt, apricot, caramel, grass, fruits,… Creamy body, low carb. Nice beer but not top (esp. due to a bit clashing malt & hop profile), prob. too high expectations here.

Pours clear dark golden color with off white head. Big pine and citrus aromas. Pine resin and bitter grapefruit flavors with a hint of malt. Medium body with average carbonation. Good stuff.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of alexsdad06. Big thanks, Brad! Pours a copper appearance with a nice, cream colored head. Plenty of Northwest hops in the nose. Quite a bit of pine, grapefruit, and juicy citrus from the hops. Pretty malty and strong flavor. Some booze. Moderate to high bitterness. Some cracker and toast from the malt. Pretty juicy. Quite a bit of bitterness on the finish. Not my favorite style of IPA but this isn’t all bad.
