A creamy and toasty ale, brewed with oatmeal, five malt varieties and roasted barley. Hops include a blend of Cascade, Willamette, and Tettnang hops. This lush, full stout has a rich black color and a dry finish that is smooth and gently hopped.

Looks as black as tar with a dark brown head which fades fast. Smells very strong and sweet with hints of caramel and sugar. Thin bodied compared to the colour, but a nice burnt caramel taste to a mellow body. Not a bad beer, but from the colour, I was expecting more.

Found at Jungle Jim''s in Fairlfield, OH. Almost black with no discernible head and minimal lacing. Creamy coffee aroma. Nice toasty flavor of coffee, nuts and some chocolate. Sweet and creamy finish. Rather enjoyable in my humble opinion.

Mildly sweet aroma at first, with hints at roastiness, but after a few sips, the heavy mouthfeel and lingering taste overwhelm the faint aroma. Very dark black in the glass, but shows a little red when poured. Nice lingering dark brown head. Nice sweetish roasted flavor, though mild. I like the full mouthfeel. Lingering aftertaste is balanced - with notes of both malt and hops.
