Cosmic Microwave is a thick and juicy boy. Brewed with a rotating roster of hops specifically chosen to impart fruity aromas and juicy flavours in droves. Malted wheat enhances body and our New England yeast keeps things hazy and velvety.

From a 355ml can on 13/5/2020. Pours a cloudy medium golden with a medium white head. Smells a a bit fruity and spicy. The taste features moderately sweet citrus and tropical fruit, with a firmish spicy bitterness. The palate is thick with slightly prickly carbonation. A not necessarily typical NEIPA but pretty tasty and well made.

On tap at the Brewpub. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma and taste of hops, mango, some notes of soap and light malt. A decent one.

On tap at their brewpub (which is swish) . Colour of pear juice. Thick. Tangerine news. Citrus juice predominates but with surprising nastiness underneath. Bitterness burn to end. Better than most local efforts at this style.

Tap at the Abbotsford Brewpub. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus, the flavour is moderate bitter sweet, with a crisp, fresh, citrus fruit, mineral, dry pepper spice palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Glass on tap at Beermash, Collingwood. Cloudy orange beer with a thin white head. Faint nose of doughy malt, a touch of citrus maybe. Some patchy lacing. Hugely drinkable, you can easily slam this. Notes of grapefruit and pepper lead to a lingering bitter lemon finish. One of the best NEIPA's I've had.

Can says drink fresh but there's no date. Moderately hazy (less so than some pics though I poured to the bottom) gold with a dense white head. 3+ Aroma of fresh orange juice, some mango, grass. Dryish and barely medium bodied with crackers, a little toast, lots of quite zesty fruit. Quite bitter at the end, somewhat astringent too --- Beer merged from original tick of Cosmic Microwave on 13 Mar 2019 at 12:36 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8. One of the best NEIPAs I've had. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, caramel, toast and heaps of passionfruit. Well balanced, disappears way too quickly leaving perhaps its only flaw, which is a fair bit of heat from the alcohol.
